After a long period of being very busy with both work and studies related topics, I finally have time to arrange matters closer to my heart- the workshop.
now with better lighting, clutter gone, the next project awaits – renovation of a Perkins 4.108 engine destined to a bugger.
Being a very rare engine to start with, parts are scarce and so many other owners endure the same issues which limits even further the parts pool. It looks like I will need to remanufacture some parts, brackets and a thermostat housing, Luckily I was lucky to find a second block, as the original engine suffered from a spun bearing on piston 3, and very worn main journals.
